Chapter 1:
Kelli padded through her woods, the icy air turning her breath to a fine mist. She loved the peaceful silence, the tranquility. Her boots made a light crunch with every step upon the new fallen snow. As she looked up in wonder at a graceful hawk in the branches of a huge tree, eerie howls split the air. She saw two glittering yellow eyes in the shadows...

This is only starting and is already getting interesting!

Chapter 2: ~hours later~
Kelli woke with a groan, her hair frozen to the ground. She sat up, feeling a sticky warmness on her belly. She saw huge bite marks, looking up to see a pure black wolf with those fathomless yellow eyes. It had blood caked on its muzzle, but looked as if it was ashamed. She looked at it, curious as it slunk away, its tail and head low as if it wasnt its fault. She groaned and stood up, shuffling to her car and managing to slide in. She pulled on her belt and drove down the road, stopping in her rocky driveway. (she is about 16 if youre wondering)

Chapter 3:
Kelli unlocked the door with a light click. She padded in, looking at a note left on the black granite counter. "Oh ok." she said after reading. Her parents had gone to get "away" from their little town in Texas. They would be gone for about a week in some Arkansas cabin in the mountains. She stuck the note on the fridge, walking to the batghroom. After wiping all the blood off of her wound, she realized it was only just some scars now. "How did that..." she trailed off, confused. She shruged, padding into her room and grabbing a comfy TX A&M t-shirt. She plopped on the couch, flicking through the channels and petting her cat, Nibbles. She slipped off to sleep after a few boring minutes. In her dreams, she was walking in the woods again, with that wolf beside her. She tried to speak, but could not. Then she realized...she was a wolf too.

Chapter 4: ~About a month later~
Kelli woke, groaning and roling over on the couch. She huffed at Nibbles, who was sitting right in front of her face. Nibbles kept mewing at her, pawing her face. "Alright alright, ill get your food." she stood up, her back popping. She opened the pantry, pulling out the cat food. She wrinkled her nose at the musky smell. She poured it in the bowl, setting it down by the little cat. She grabbed some bacon, opening the package and eating some before making some toast. As she gnawed on the toast, she watched the news and almost choked on her breakfast. The wolf was on the news! Or, at least, a boy with shaggy black hair and those golden eyes. He wasnt right in the story, but in the background of the news scene in the local library. She looked at him, insanely curious until the camera panned away to another thing. She wrote down the library, wanting to go later. After combing her messy hair and taking a well-needed shower, she realized that it was technically the first day of summer. She grinned, it was her favorite season. She pulled on her fav blue jeans and a comfy tee and hoodie, grabbing the slip of paper with the library on it and hopped in the car. She found herself messing with her hair and preening herself before walking in. The bell tingled lightly, and the boy looked up at her. She sucked in a breath, blushing slightly and walking to the side of the room to pretend to look through books while watching him.
